Inspection method for leakage of return cylinder of four-column hydraulic press

- 01/29/2024 -

1. Leak detection by filling with SF6: This method is suitable for newly installed or reinstalled four-column hydraulic presses after maintenance, or for small leaks that cannot be detected with soap bubbles during operation. An SF6 detector can quantitatively determine the leak point and the amount of air leakage. , the other is an SF6 leak detector that reflects the gas leakage concentration. By detecting the concentration of SF6 in the enclosed space, it is used to calculate the annual leakage amount.

2. Vacuum monitoring method: This method is used for four-column hydraulic presses that are newly installed or reassembled after maintenance. The four-column hydraulic press manufacturer first evacuates the reinstallation device and connecting pipes to 1 Torr, and observes for 20 minutes to confirm that there is no leakage before use. Open the side of the equipment. valve, evacuate the equipment to 1 Torr. Maintain the vacuum degree for 4 hours. If the vacuum degree drop does not exceed 1 Torr, the equipment is considered to have no leakage.

3. Soap bubble detection method: This method can be used when the leakage is large or the four-column hydraulic press is in operation. The four-column hydraulic press manufacturer uses a brush to measure the soapy water on the sealing link that may leak. The place where bubbles appear outward is the leakage point. This method can detect leaks with a leak rate of approximately 104 mL atmospheric pressure/second.
