Four Column hydraulic Press uses the function and installation position of the supercharger

- 12/22/2023 -

Four Column hydraulic press can be used in situations where the one-way effect is relatively large or the stroke is relatively small, such as oil clutches and brakes, etc. If the reversing valve is on the right at this time, then the pressure oil from the supercharger will enter the working cylinder. If it is on the left, then the working cylinder will rely on the spring to make the return stroke. This boosting method cannot be connected to a high-pressure oil source. At the same time, the booster circuit can be connected to high-pressure oil, so that it can be used in places where the booster stroke is relatively long. No matter where the supercharger moves, its high-pressure oil will be relatively high.
Four Column hydraulic press generally relies on a travel switch or proximity sensor to detect the position of the low-pressure piston and activate the reversing valve set on the low-pressure side. When the pilot valve is in the left position, pressure oil enters the left chamber of the large piston, pushing the piston to the right. The small piston on the right outputs the pressurized high-pressure liquid through the one-way valve, while the low-pressure oil is replenished through the left chamber of the large piston and the one-way valve. And fill the left high pressure cylinder. When the large piston moves to the right and touches the cam at the end of the stroke valve, the pilot valve is switched to the right position, causing the large piston to move to the left, and the high-pressure chamber on the left outputs high-pressure liquid. This reciprocating action achieves continuous output of high-pressure liquid.
The Four Column hydraulic press cylinder is integrated with the lower beam, and the lower beam is connected to the upper beam through two or three columns to form a stress-bearing frame. There is a large hollow plunger in the cylinder, which is also a working cylinder with a small hollow plunger, and the small hollow plunger is fixed on the upper beam. The large hollow plunger is integrated with the movable beam, and two return cylinders are installed on the movable beam, while the return plunger is fixed on the upper beam.
When the three-position four-way slide valve is in the neutral position, the supercharger does not work. When the three-position four-way valve is moved to the seated position, low-pressure oil enters the high-pressure chamber, and the piston moves to the right. The oil in the right chamber of the low-pressure cylinder is discharged back to the tank through the slide valve. At the same time, the control oil line of the valve is also under pressure, so the oil in the right chamber of the low-pressure cylinder It can also be drained back to the tank through the valve. When the piston moves to the right and approaches the end point, the travel switch is touched, and the slide valve changes to the right position. The low-pressure oil passes through the right chamber of the low-pressure cylinder, pushing the piston to the left, and outputs the high-pressure oil from the one-way valve. The hydraulic machine's one-way valve prevents the high-pressure oil from flowing back.
The supercharger is used for ultra-high pressure of 63~100Mpa. It uses two halves of clamps to connect the high and low pressure water cylinders. It has a compact structure and light weight, but it is inconvenient to replace the seal. The supercharger should be placed as close as possible to the working cylinder of the hydraulic press to reduce the amount of thick-walled high-pressure pipes, energy loss and pipe vibration. In addition to the above-mentioned external supercharger, there are also superchargers directly installed in the working cylinder, which are called built-in superchargers. The built-in supercharger has a compact structure, but requires high manufacturing precision and is inconvenient for better sealing.
The continuous booster uses the same working medium for the low-pressure side and the high-pressure side. The reversing valve is located on the low-pressure side. The four one-way valves not only achieve isolation between high and low pressure, but also ensure that the high-pressure outlet always outputs high-pressure liquid. When one side of the high-pressure cylinder outputs high-pressure liquid, the other side of the high-pressure cylinder sucks in low-pressure liquid, and the reverse movement is similar, so that the four-machine hydraulic press continuously outputs high-pressure liquid.
